A Week’s Wardrobe

Monday: Layers in neutrals when it’s cold outside — I wore this to run errands: a quick stop at a coffee shop before grocery shopping and going to the post office and dry cleaners. I also wore this the following day for my birthday, though I didn’t have any big plans!
Wednesday (labeled as TuesdayOutfit, sorry!): A long black tank dress layered over a white henley, flowers in my hair and converse sneakers. I wore this mostly around the house but also to visit with a friend and her baby before heading to work out.
Thursday: My tomboy outfit: relaxed jeans, a denim shirt, and a men’s scarf with flat lace-up boots. By far my most comfortable outfit! I wore this around the house while cleaning, baking, and writing an article for the Post with my favorite music blaring!
Friday: What I wore to meet a friend for coffee. I ended up lingering and reading for two hours after! Then some errands, and after picking up the boys at school, we went out for pizza (and beer).
Saturday: It was a warm day for winter, so I layered a black knee-length cotton dress with a cozy sweater and fleece knee-highs and was surprisingly warm all day. I took the boys to breakfast, then the Science Center, then we played Monopoly all afternoon!
Sunday: Nothing special planned, but the funny thing is, after dressing a little more feminine, I ended up getting stranded on the side of the highway with a flat tire while wearing this. Go figure!
